Books have always been an important part of my professional and personal development. One of my professional mentors taught me to never stop educating myself and learn new things every day. Nowadays, it seems people do not need to read books as access to the Internet is free and quick. More than that, it usually takes time for authors to write and publish their books. Being available in books shops, books might provide already outdated information. To some point I agree with this view, and prefer reading business-related blogs.
